Roger Gallant, M.D.

Lifestyle Physician

Dr. Gallant is a trained emergency physician who has a passion for health and natural remedies. He has traveled throughout the country and to various parts of the world teaching about health, and how lifestyle choices affect chronic diseases. He is also the Medical Director of the NEWSTART Lifestyle Program.

Randy Bivens, M.D.

Lifestyle Physician

Dr. Randy Bivens graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, completing an internal medicine internship and a diagnostic radiology residency. He has a passion for lifestyle medicine, and is currently the COO of Weimar Institute.

Wes Youngberg, DrPH

Lifestyle Medicine

Dr. Youngberg trained at Loma Linda University where he earned a doctor of public health degree in clinical preventive care and a master of public health degree in nutrition. Author of popular health books, Dr. Youngberg has over 20 years of clinical experience using integrative lifestyle therapies for diabetes control, depression recovery, cardiovascular disease reversal, optimizing digestive health and effective management of many chronic health conditions.

Brian Schwartz, M.D.

Lifestyle Physician

Brian Schwartz is an Interventional Cardiologist at Kettering Medical Center (KMC) in Dayton Oh. Graduated from LLU in 1989 and Married his wife Lyndi Phillips MD, that same year. He is the Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program at KMC and Director of the Advanced Structural Heart program at KMC. Despite interest in Interventional techniques he has found that the best patient outcomes occur when patients embrace a plant based diet and active lifestyle and strongly encourages his patients.

Neil Nedley, M.D.

Lifestyle Physician

Neil Nedley is the President of Weimar Institute  while still a practicing physician in Internal Medicine with emphasis in Gastroenterology, Mental Health, Lifestyle Medicine, and the difficult-to-diagnose patient. He has provided continuing medical education courses to physicians and health professionals around the world.

Calvin Kim, D.D.S.

General Dentistry

Calvin Kim graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 2000 and practices general dentistry in the state of WA. He is the co-founder and director of ARME Bible Camp. He has received various awards for his volunteer service and has participated in multiple volunteer projects overseas. Dr. Kim is an avid triathlete and an IRONMAN. He is passionate about exercise and inspiring others to improve their health through fitness. His motto is: "Fitness is Witness"!

Don Mackintosh

Pastor

Don Mackintosh is the health evangelism leadership program director and campus chaplain at Weimar Institute.

Eddie Ramirez, M.D.

Lifestyle Physician

Dr. Ramirez is a physician and the director of research for Dr. Nedley's depression program, he also helps NEWSTART publish their results. In 2015 he submitted for publication 31 studies. Last year he shared his results and gave seminars in 25 countries. He has 22 years involved in various lifestyle programs. He is co-author of the book Rethink Food together with Hans Diehl, Neal Barnard, Michael Greger, Caldwell Esselstyn and other lifestyle medicine experts.
