I was born in San Francisco, CA. I became well acquainted with the streets and was deeply involved with drugs, and thought nothing of drinking a bottle or two of wine with dinner most of my life.

Coming to the NEWSTART® Lifestyle Program at Weimar has been a wonderful experience and we feel fortunate to have participated in it.
I had a few health issues for which I hoped the doctors would be able to find an answer. First was the limited ability to use my arms – I had a difficult time raising them above a 45 degree angle or extending them for more than a few seconds, before they would become extremely painful. For the past 8-10 years, I have undergone x-rays, injections, NSAID’s, physical therapy and none have worked. The hydrotherapy and massage treatments here at NEWSTART® greatly improved my shoulder range of motion and eliminated most of my arm pain.
